our story
Pink Door Store is a papergoods brand originally founded in 2020 by sisters Mary and Allie Ancel. Growing up in Baltimore, their family owned a small printing business where they would spend countless afternoons in the printing plant. The stacks of colored paper, sound of the printing press, and the smells of inks is something that always fueled their creative energy.
Pink Door Store creates stationery and prints that are inspired by vibrant 90’s style, bold patterns found in nature, and vintage typography. In order to promote sustainability within our women-owned business, every product is made by hand in Los Angeles in small limited editions.
Currently, Allie has taken the reigns as the creative boss of Pink Door in LA, while Mary has ventured onto create her own ceramics brand Weather Report based in NYC. Both sisters are happy to report that the original vision of Pink Door remains the same; one-of-a-kind quality papergoods that aim to spark joy, human connection, and brighten your spaces and places.
